Today, Oasis Security steps into a new phase of acceleration. We have signed a letter of intent to be acquired by Cyera, and the transaction is now in the process of completion. Together, we are building the next-generation security platform that enables enterprises to put AI to work in their most important systems while staying in control.

AI agents have moved from pilots into production faster than any identity model was built to handle. They reason, decide, and act across the systems that run the business. That creates a new kind of risk: an agent with valid credentials and the right objective can expose sensitive data or disrupt operations with a single wrong decision. No attacker required.

Wherever the agents come from, and whoever built them, AI adoption runs through the same two control points: access and data. That's where we sit, purpose-built for the AI era.

AI Trust Starts With Access

An agent with full access has the full potential and the full risk. Every AI action comes down to one question: who or what can reach which data, when, in what context, and under which policy.

Access is where that trust is won or lost, and it is where the old identity model breaks. That model was built for people and for standing permissions that changed slowly. Agents appear in seconds, act on their own, and are gone within the hour. Gartner predicts that by 2028, an average global Fortune 500 enterprise will have over 150,000 agents in use, up from less than 15 in 2025 (Gartner Identifies Six Steps to Manage Artificial Intelligence Agent Sprawl," April 28, 2026). Non-human identity is now a board-level priority, and safe AI enablement requires unified control over both access and data context.

Amit and I founded Oasis in 2022 out of a conviction that non-human identities were becoming the baseline for identity security and stood as the most perilous unmanaged exposure in enterprise safety. The market has since validated that conviction: this new identity layer needs a security model of its own. Over the past three years, we gave the world's largest enterprises a new way to govern access. We moved them off static, standing permissions and onto continuous, policy-driven control over which workloads and agents get access, in what context, and for how long.

Complete governance depends on the other side of every request: what the data is, how sensitive it is, and which business process relies on it. As we partnered with the best data security tools to complete that picture, we saw a deeper and stronger story for our customers. Identity and data security have to come together now.

Why Cyera, Why Now

The market is expanding fast, and Oasis had every reason to keep building alone. Joining forces with Cyera was still the obvious move. We share the same conviction, the same values, and the same obsession with our customers, with the execution to serve the biggest enterprises in the world. Cyera redefined data security. We redefined identity for the age of AI.

Together, we will build the next-generation security platform, one that sees the whole picture: the identity behind every agent, the access it requests, the data that access reaches, and the business context that says what is truly at stake. Access is where value is created, and where damage happens; governing it is how enterprises get the first without the second. Data gives that governance the context to weigh every decision. The result is knowing, at any moment, which agent is acting, what it can reach, what it can do, and what it would cost if it went wrong.

Our joint vision goes beyond keeping an agent away from the wrong data. We want enterprises to automate their most critical work without letting a single wrong decision interrupt the business. Joining Cyera is the most ambitious way to pursue the mission we started.

What This Means for Our Community

To our customers: nothing you depend on stops. The Oasis Platform continues, the team you work with stays focused on non-human identity and agentic access, and the roadmap keeps moving, now with more muscle behind it. What changes is how fast we can build and how much business context we can bring to every access decision.

To our partners, and to the Oasis team: you saw this challenge before the broader market understood it. Together, we shaped a category around it and helped the world's largest companies redesign how access is governed. We built Oasis Security when non-human identities outgrew what enterprises could manage. We are joining Cyera to govern the future of access and the agents that will increasingly run the business.

The best is ahead, and our journey has only just begun.
